Deep
Dive.
The art of all-in faith.
A five-week journey through the book of James — what happens when belief stops being theory and starts moving into your monday.
Most of us have never actually read a book of the Bible.
We hear it preached, quoted, and posted. We just rarely sit down and read it ourselves. This series is an invitation to change that — together.
of regular church attenders have never read through a single book of the Bible from start to finish.
Most of us are second-hand readers. We hear Scripture read to us on Sundays, see verses on graphics, and underline a phrase in someone else's book. But sitting down with our own Bible, our own pen, and reading James the way he wrote it — straight through — that's the part we keep skipping.
This isn't a guilt trip. It's a doorway. James is short, sharp, and disarmingly practical. He's not interested in your theology bumper sticker — he wants to know what your faith is actually doing on Tuesday morning.
What we're studying.
When It Gets Hard
James 1:1–18Trials don't interrupt your faith — they complete it.
Just Do It
James 1:19–2:26Hearing without doing is self-deception dressed up as spirituality.
Watch Your Mouth
James 3:1–18You will never live at a level higher than the words coming out of your mouth.
Fight the Right Enemy
James 4:1–17The war in your home starts with the war in your heart.
Patient. Persistent. Powerful.
James 5:1–20Real faith doesn't quit before the harvest comes.
The whole church. One book.
Kids, students, and adults — every age group at Central is walking through James together. Same book. Same weeks. Different rooms.
